SCORE 'Counselors to America's Small Business' is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. The Chicago Chapter of SCORE provides free business counseling, free counsulting, inexpensive workshops and other resources to entrepreneurs and small business through locations in the Chicago area.
SCORE counselors are executives and business owners who have achieved success in their fields and now, as volunteers, want to help you do the same. About 100 counselors are in the chapter, giving you access to experts in many industries.

Entrepreneurs can take advantage of new, free online training and other resources offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration to assist them during this period of economic recovery.
The SBA offers a variety of online courses to assist small businesses in more effectively managing their firms in the current economy. The new course topics, available at http://www.sba.gov/services/training/onlinecourses, include revising business plans to reposition with current conditions, winning customers in a slowing economy, restructuring existing debt, and diversifying your customer base with federal contracts.
